Faculty
Faculty are welcome to contact ARL:UT about research collaboration opportunities. As home to four research laboratories and two research centers, ARL:UT is one of the largest units in the UT System. Our specialized facilities support advanced testing and prototyping. With extensive knowledge in many different areas, we are always interested in collaboration with faculty and other university research teams.
Students
ARL:UT enjoys a reciprocal relationship with the university, and students are an integral part of its research programs. The university provides access to talented student employees, and ARL:UT’s expert researchers serve the university in the classroom. ARL:UT also has educational initiatives in partnership with local schools and supports its staff members in pursuit of their academic goals.
About ARL:UT
Applied Research Laboratories, the University of Texas at Austin, is a Department of Defense University-Affiliated Research Center. Since 1945, ARL:UT has been engaged in sponsored research dedicated to improving our national security through applications of acoustics, electromagnetics, and information sciences.
